These pictures above are just some of my annotation of my biology readings. The underlines signify that I have a note and the black text box that appears when hovering over the text has my note. The green highlights are the important information that I know pretty well and the yellow highlights are the important information that I need to remember. Annotating for biology is different than English as there is a different purpose. In English connections are made between different texts, but in biology the connections are already made in reading as it is all the same book. This annotation is helpful as it allows me to go back to the readings to see what I need to know along with notes and grasp the main information before tests and quizzes.
