The above pages show the annotating process that I decided to do for Chapter 1o Social Networking and Identity of Susan Greenfield’s book, “Mind Change.” I combined the new chunking method with the previous annotation method of highlighting and writing viewpoints and text connections. I also used sticky notes to write what I believed to be the main point of the page as a sort of summary of the reading on two of the pages and left the other two without sticky notes to see if the sticky notes are truly useful when I go back to the reading in the future. This method took a long time which can be a problem in the future when you have limited time to read sections of text, but it is useful for these kind of readings as it allows for the reading to be split up into sections. This makes it easier to look back at the reading in the future.
