I can transfer skills such as active reading which can been used on the Biology readings with highlighting the important points in the reading. These highlights will allow me to go back and see the most important details in the reading that will help me study for tests.
So far I have put that work into a couple of chapters. Mainly just the highlighting, but I am starting to integrate writing notes on the sides to help me. I was unable to do this for the recent chapters because of time but I will proceed to do the process in the future.

This seems like a good start for active reading, but remember that annotation is also needed to help you summarize or comment on the highlighted parts of the text. I look forward to learning about the results.
