Reflecting on Sources

After going through many sources, I found several good sources to go along with “When Scientists Develop Products From Personal Medical Data, Who Gets to Profit?” These sources include: “Sharing Patient data: understanding anonymisation,” “WEBSITES HACKED. CORPORATE DATA LEAKED. IDENTITIES STOLEN,” “Do we really know our patient population in database research?,” “Advance Oracle Clinical Software tool used in clinical research from patient data collection to data base lock”, and “Patient confidentiality, clinical data and NHS research – a researcher’s guide.” All of these sources relate to the use of patient data in medical research, how this personal data can be hacked, and the laws and rights associated with patient data. I may use these sources to show the process of using patient data and the rights that go along with it. Then include how this data can be hacked or be a violation of privacy, but also beneficial as it can advance research and help many people.
